Headprint is a private, offline diary for headaches and migraines
(package com.secuoia.headprint). This policy explains how the app
handles your information. In short: Headprint does not collect, transmit,
or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
No data collection
Headprint has no user accounts and no sign-in.
It contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting, no trackers,
and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
The app requests no Internet permission and does not connect to any
network. It cannot send your information anywhere, and the developer never receives it.
Where your data is stored
All the information you log — attacks, timing, intensity, symptoms, medications, notes and
any other entries — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device.
Cloud backup is disabled (allowBackup=false), so your diary is
not included in Android's automatic backup or device-to-device transfer. Your health data is
treated as sensitive and kept on the device.
Data you choose to export or share
You can generate a PDF report or a CSV export of your data
and share it through Android's standard share sheet.
This happens only when you explicitly choose to. The exported file goes solely
to the destination you select (for example an email app, a messaging app, or your
doctor). Headprint and its developer never receive a copy.
Once data leaves the app this way, it is handled by the app or service you sent it to, under
that service's own terms.
Permissions
On Android 9 and older, the app uses the storage-write permission
(WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) for the single purpose of saving the PDF report to your
Downloads folder. On Android 10 and newer this permission is not used.
No other permissions are requested.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries within the app at any time.
Because all data lives only on your device, uninstalling Headprint permanently
removes all of it. There is no server-side copy to delete.
Children
Headprint is a general-audience health-tracking tool and is not directed at children. It collects
no personal information from anyone, including children.
Medical disclaimer
Headprint is a personal diary, not a medical device, and does not provide diagnosis or medical
advice. Any summaries it shows are descriptive observations of your own entries. Always consult a
qualified healthcare professional about your symptoms.
